The teacher thinks Jimmy cheated on the test, and she knows how to prove it.

After a test one day in class, Ms. Thompson drew Jimmy over to her desk and stated, “Jimmy, I feel like you have been cheating on your tests.”

Jimmy urged Ms. Thompson to provide evidence after becoming shocked.

“Well,” Ms. Thompson began, “I was reviewing your exam and the question was, ‘Who was our first president?’ Penny, the young child sitting next to you, wrote ‘George Washington,’ and so did you.”

“All right? That he was the first president is widely acknowledged.

“Now, please give it a minute,” Ms. Thompson added. “Who freed the slaves?” was the following query. You also put “Abraham Lincoln,” Penny did.

Jimmy remarked, “Well, I read the history book last night and I remembered that.”

“Hold on, please,” Ms. Thompson said. “Who was president during the Louisiana Purchase?” was the following query. You wrote, “Me neither,” and Penny wrote, “I don’t know.”

HAHA! He most likely believed he would get away with it too!

In this amusing classroom incident, Jimmy’s instructor, Ms. Thompson, believes that he has been cheating on his tests. She does, however, base her assertion on some damning evidence.

“Jimmy, I think you’ve been cheating on your tests,” Ms. Thompson said to him following an exam.

Startled by the charge, Jimmy requests evidence. Ms. Thompson, though, is prepared to give it all up.

She notes, “The question was, ‘Who was our first president?'” as she goes over Jimmy’s test. You and the girl seated next to you, Penny, both wrote “George Washington.”

Jimmy argues for himself, saying that George Washington was the first president, as everyone is aware.

Mrs Thompson is not persuaded. “Who freed the slaves?” was the next query, she says. You and Penny both authored “Abraham Lincoln.”

Jimmy, in an attempt to defend himself, says with pride that he read the history book the previous evening and can still recall the solution.

Ms. Thompson isn’t finished, though. The last, most damning query that she presents is, “Who was president during the Louisiana Purchase?” Penny said, “I don’t know,” but Jimmy had an equally insightful answer: “Me neither.”

Jimmy misjudged his teacher’s acute perception and meticulous attention to detail. Is he going to try to cheat once more? We’ll have to watch and find out.
