Keanu Reeves had to prove he wasn’t the father of four children with a DNA test, but their mother refused to believe the results.

Off-screen, Keanu Reeves is known for his acts of kindness and overall niceness, and he has established a cinematic character.

The 57-year-old’s comeback as Thomas Anderson and Neo in the fourth Matrix Resurrections episode has enraged fans.

The Point Break star has been running a private foundation for more than five years, supporting children’s hospitals and cancer research, displaying the kind of man he genuinely is.

Many people are unaware that he was the subject of judicial proceedings more than ten years ago over allegations that he was the father of four adult children by a woman. Karen Sala said Keanu was the father of her four children, ages 21, 22, 23, and 25 at the time. Karen Sala sought $3 million in spousal support per month, retroactive to 2006, as well as $150,000 per month in child support, beginning in 1988.

Nobody was more surprised than Keanu, who denied ever meeting the woman and was accused of this. Sala, on the other hand, claimed that they had a sexual relationship before, during, and after their marriage, that they cohabited, and that he was present for the births of numerous of her children.

The case eventually reached a court hearing, much to the chagrin of the actor, who strenuously disputed the claims.

Previously, a lawyer for Keanu Reeves stated in court that Keanu was not the biological father of Sala’s elder children. Meanwhile, the Canadian mother questioned the validity of the exam.

Karen Sala, who lives in Barrie, some 60 miles north of Toronto, has criticized the DNA results. She wondered if the results had been manipulated or if the actor had used hypnosis to affect them.

She claimed to have known Reeves since she was four or five years old because he grew up across the street from her. The actor was born and reared in Toronto before going to Hollywood in 1986.

She said that they had later communicated and that she was familiar with him under various guises. “I didn’t know he was Keanu Reeves,” she told the court. “To me, he was Marty Spencer.”

Karen asserted in her affidavit, according to Lorne Wolfson, Keanu’s attorney, that Keanu used hypnosis and assumed various personas, including her ex-husband, who Wolfson claimed was the father of her children.

“Her evidence is, at best, incredible,” said Wolfson. “There is clearly no triable issue.”

Sala even sought paternity testing from her children to back up her claims. However, she declined to give her children’s birth certificates and chose not to launch a lawsuit that would have made her ex-husband’s DNA public.

Fortunately, Ontario court Fred Graham dismissed the paternity claim, declaring that the woman’s assertions were “so incredible” that no rational court could accept them and that any trial would be “a waste of limited judicial resources.”

The Matrix star remarked that this time in his life was one of the wildest he had ever known. I had to go to court. It was dreadful. That was not my fault. “I had to go to court,” Keanu revealed to US Weekly in 2011. It was dreadful. It was not done by me. “I’m not the father.”

It’s extremely unsettling how some fans’ love for Hollywood stars can lead to such lengths. I hope she is getting the help she needs.

Thankfully, Keanu’s reputation was not harmed, and he was able to move on from this somewhat startling moment in his life.
